Heatherton World of Activities is laocted in St Florence near Tenby in Pembrokeshire, West Wales and is open all year and is one of Wales favourite All Weather Attractions. With many attractions undercover, you can have a great day out whatever the weather. Heatherton has a range of sporting activities available for all ages, so whether you are looking for a relaxing day out or a more adrenalin fuelled adventure day, there is sonething at Heatherton for everyone. Newly opened in 2009 is the Tree Tops Adventure Trail which is a high ropes adventure course, with four adult courses and two junior courses, youw ill be swingin through the trees at up to 40 feet before returning to earth via one of the numerous zip lines.

Archery - Tenby
Bow & Arrow for age 6+. You are gievn 6 practice shots then 6 shots to score with. Instructors are there to give safety talks and to help you achieve your best score.

Pistol Shooting - Tenby
Our qualified staff will provide a safety talk then once the members of staff are happy that participants have listened and understood safety glasses are provided and the shooting begins.
A target is provided and the aim is to hit the centre.
The youngest age of a participant is 6 years old however this must be with parent or guardians assistance. This is due to the fact the pistol gun itself can be difficult to load. Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting - Tenby
Duration: 25 Clays 10 - 15 minutes
Queuing Time: 30 minutes maximum
There is simulated shooting (so there is no recoil) using a computer to give the customer a score at the end of their go. The minimum age to participate is 8 years; the actual Laser Clay Guns are heavy, and smaller children might need assistance from a parent or guardian.

Karting - Senior - Tenby
Queuing Time: Off peak 0 -5 minutes. Peak 45 minutes maximum.
Heatherton built an all-new track for 2004. Senior's 14 years plus. The track is approximately 350-400 metres long. Senior karts can reach speeds up to 53 mph.

Baseball/Softball - Tenby
Duration: 30 Balls/person; takes about 10 minutes including instruction.
Queuing Time: Maximum queuing time 30 minutes.
Minimum age of 6 years (depending on size).
Softball is more suitable for small children. Baseball is pitched at quite fast speeds, up to 60 mph! for teenagers and adults. This is one of the only machines of its kind in the United Kingdom.

Bumper Boats - Tenby
Duration: 10 minutes, this time might be slightly reduced at busier periods.
Queuing Time: 45 minutes maximum.
The boat lake itself is 4 foot deep. Children who cannot swim or are very small must wear a life jacket at all times. Boats are powered either by petrol engines or electric motors. This is a very popular activity as children and adults enjoy bumping into one another creating splashes of water.

Adventure Golf - Tenby
Duration:25-30 minutes, this time may be increased depending on how many people are on the course.
Built in the year 2000 this is ideal for families and those individuals who have never played golf before. A relaxed fun scoring system, whoever gets round in the least shots wins.Putters for adults and children along with golf balls are provided from the gift shop at peak seasons and in reception throughout the winter period. As this activity does not need supervision it is open very late. Latest to go out is 8pm.

Pitch & Putt - Tenby
Duration: When the course is quiet approximately 2 hours however this will vary depending on how many people are paying on the course.
Equipment: You can use your own equipment, in the cost of £5 or 3 credits one putter and one iron is provided. Golf balls are given out once a deposit has been given, that is 25p per ball and this is refunded once the ball is returned. Most people take four balls out with them as balls do disappear into the lake and into surrounding greenery.

Golf Driving Range - Tenby
This is a place to practice taking your golfing shots.
Cost: £1=15 balls, £2 =42 balls £3=65 balls (this is separate to the credit system).
There are 13 bays 4 left handed and 9 right handed.
Money is placed into a machine and a basket of approximately 30 balls is given.
Clubs are stored opposite the machine and you can help yourself or use your own clubs.

Indiana Play Area - 4-10 years - Tenby
Duration: 1 hour. Children are tagged once they enter, however we do recommend guardians/ parents stay with those children under 3.
With ball pits, slides ladders to climb and ropes this provides plenty of entertainment for younger children.
There is also a section only for children under 3 years old.

Robo Wars - Tenby
Similar to the hit series show Robo Wars this activity allows you to have loads of fun by controlling 70kg robots with the use of an easy to use control panel.
4 players are required to defend their corner whilst attempting to flip over other robots.
The aim of this activity is to stay in play for the longest this is done by gaining 5 seconds every time you hit your opponent's corner.

Tree Tops Trail - Junior Course - Tenby
Tree Tops Trail is an Adventure Ropes Course that will without doubt give you a day to remember. It would certainly make Tarzan think twice. And its even more fun if you come with your friends and family or as group.
The Junior Tree Tops Trail is for children who are under 16 years old and taller than 1.1metres. All children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

The Tree Tops Trail is a High Ropes adventure course located near Tenby and is close to the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. If you are looking for a personal challenge, some family fun, a team building or incentive activity look no further take your confidence to new heights.

Pembrokeshire Raceway - Tenby
The Pembrokeshire Raceway is Wales' only 1/24 scale slot car track and offers a mixture of speed, skill and concentraion. The large indoor track, was introduced in 2008 and has been very popular ever since.
The track is able to race up to eight cars at a time, making it ideal for groups and bookings.

Walk on Water - Tenby
Walk on Water is a new activity to Heatherton for 2010.
Jump inside the 6 foot inflatable ball and walk or bounce across the water. It will have you and your friends in fits of laughter.
You will not get wet and do not have to wear a swimming costume as you are inside the ball, not in the water.
Minimum age is 5 years and maximum weight is 15 stone.

Heading from the East, join onto the A40 and follow to St Clears. Then take the A477 to Kilgetty and then the A478 to Tenby. At Tenby, follow signs to Pembroke, follow along this road to the park - which will be on your right. The Park has the brown tourism signs from Tenby to assist you. |
