Spa Breaks
For more information email fran@activitywales.com
When is the best time to visit Pembrokeshire? A question that we are
asked
time and time again. The summer does offer fantastic weather and school
is
out so we are at our busiest then. But the best time, well that one
will
never be agreed upon, and this is probably why those people that come
back
year in year out all have their own special reasons for visiting what
we
believe is the best place in the world.
Some may struggle to decide where and when to take a break for
a few days. It is for this reason that Activity Wales, the country¹s
leading activity packaging specialist, have created just a few tasters
to try and tempt you to take a few days off work and give your life
a little lift over the autumn and winter months. Whatever you choose
to do, you will share a unique feeling at the end of your stay SSS..
we call it "Refreshology"!
Get off your horse and drink champagne! Using
the style and history of your cottage as the basis for your break
can be a fantastic way of creating an interesting weekend away.
Yr Hen Efail was a local blacksmiths shop in the heart of St Florence
from 1705 to the 1980s. It is now a delightfully renovated 5 star
cottage sleeping 6 people. Why not partner 4 nights here with a
horseriding session that leads either right past your door or trek
through the immediate countryside and take in some of the breathtaking
views. We will also put a bottle of champagne in the cottage for
you to relax and either drink away the stresses of the drive or
the aches of the ride!! To finish off your break we are giving all
the party a day pass to the local Country Sports Park where you
can either try your hand at over 10 activities or set up your own
mini Olympics.

Boats and birds go one step further than those who take advantage
of the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and see the stunning
coastline and wildlife from the comfort of a boat. Pembrokeshire
offers a diverse range of boat trips that take in wildlife such
as puffins and shearwaters to whales and dolphins. For something
really special, we have a 37ft Power Cruiser and a 43ft Lago on
Power Catamaran that offer fantastic tailor made outings from small
families to corporate groups.
Prices from £20 per person pilgrimage to st davids St Davids
Cathedral has been attracting visitors for nearly 14 centuries.
In 1124 Pope Calixtus II declared that two pilgrimages to St Davids
were equal to one to Rome and that three were equal to one to Jerusalem
itself. St Davids is the smallest city in the UK, but don't assume
that it's lacking interesting and exciting things to do. St Davids
is a great opener for a cultural experience in Pembrokeshire with
cafes, art galleries and boutique shops in the immediate area. However,
it is also home to the white water activity known the world over
as "The Bitches". Cliff jumping, kayaking and rock climbing
are also regulars on a menu of adrenalin sports. Activity Wales
will tailor make your visit to St Davids to ensure you don¹t
miss out on a single experience!
The Footballer Includes five-a-side football match,
Elemis Sports Massage, four night's five-star cottage accommodation
and free use of on-site spa facilities including indoor heated pool,
fitness suite, sauna, solarium and tennis courts, plus access to 9-hole
golf course, golf simulator, land boards and mountain bike hire at
additional cost. Prices are from £80pp, based on a group of 10.
These breaks are simply tasters of what can be done in the area.
If you
would like us to help plan your break, please just let us
know what type of activities or attractions you are interested in
and we
will arrange the rest, completely free of charge.
