Try your hand at some challenging climbing experiences, increase
your confidence and scale the heights you’ve only dreamed
of!
Rock Hard – Brecon
If you have always enjoyed being in the outdoors,
why not get to grips with rock climbing, abseiling and caving!
Your activity day starts covering the safety aspects, before heading
out with an experienced and qualified instructor. Before long you
will be scaling heights you never thought possible! During the
afternoon you will be abseiling down the rock face where you will
start moving down very slowly, but as you get more practice and
as your confidence grows you will be coming down in just a few
leaps and bounds!
The second day explores the caves of the Brecon Beacons National
Park, again kitted out with all the equipment, you will be exploring
the many passages and challenges of the wonderful cave systems.
Your accommodation will be a comfortable B&B, where you can
rest and enjoy good food, with free time in the evening for you
to explore Brecon, with is quaint pubs and eateries.
Three nights B&B accommodation plus two full activity days
of abseiling, rock climbing and caving from £235 per person
(based on 2 sharing).
Hard as Rock - North Wales
Why not try abseiling and rock climbing combined with gorge walking.
It is the perfect combination, as the gorge walking is doing similar
activities but in a different environment! Your first morning offers
an easy rock climb to give you the taste, followed by a 95 foot
abseil! The view from the top is breathtaking so don’t forget
your camera! The afternoon offers climbing suitable for all levels
from the low level to the most extreme grades! To complete your
break the final activity is a gorge walk where you are scrambling
around a gorge bed, with abseiling, slides, and the jumping pools
to enhance the challenge – but be prepared – you’re
gonna get wet!
Your selected accommodation is just a few minutes walk from Llangollen’s
town centre, shops and restaurants. The activities and local attractions
are nearby which makes this accommodation an excellent base for
your break in North Wales.
