Our Commitment To you. Activity Wales are the country's leading provider of activity breaks and packages. We are bonded under the package travel regulations and have a team of dedicated professionals that love what they do. We do strive to offer unique experiences where possible and we can tailor basic packages to your personal needs. Also we attempt where possible to ensure that we offer the best value in the marketplace. "We", "our" or "us" means ActivityWales.com "You" or "your" means the person accessing, using or ordering from our brochure or web site over the internet, by phone or in person. "Provider" means the centre at which the activity is taking place.
"Open Voucher" means a non specific voucher that allows you to choose an activity up to the value of the voucher.
"Experience day" means a voucher that is specific to both the activity and the provider on the voucher.
Web site and Brochure Prices. All prices are correct at the time of going to press, but we do reserve the right to change prices without notice. If a provider changes a price of an activity the balance must be paid before the confirmation is accepted. Prices include VAT, information pack and postage.
Description and Photographs. We do our utmost to monitor descriptions and illustrations on the web site. The pictures on both the web site and brochure are intended to give a general idea of the activity described and does not form part of any contract between you and Activity Wales.
All contracts are between you and the provider, Activity Wales acts purely as a booking agent and does not enter into any form of contract with you.
Customer Enquiries. We welcome feedback, in fact the reputation and success of the company has been built on customer feedback. Should you have any reason to complain about an activity, please do so while you are at the centre. Activity Wales will be happy to provide you with the contact at the centre. Only if you have an issue with the booking service offered should you contact activity Wales. If this is the case please call 01437 766888 or contact fran@activitywales.com and we would be delighted to deal with your enquiry as quickly as possible.
Delivery. Standard delivery is by 1st class mail and please allow between 3-5 working days. We do offer a next day delivery service for an extra £7.50. If the product is a surprise please let us know and we will ensure the voucher is supplied private and confidential in a plain envelope. Deliveries outside the UK are quoted separately at the time of booking.
Payment. All Vouchers are dispatched once full payment has been received. Activity Wales accepts all major credit and debit cards except for American Express. We do accept installments, but the voucher will not be issued until the balance is cleared.
Validity. All vouchers are valid for a period of 6-12 months depending on the activity and provider. The expiry date is printed on the ticket. An extension of the expiry date is available at time of booking for an additional cost. It is not possible to extend the expiry date once the voucher has been issued.
Exchanges. It is possible to exchange a voucher for an alternative activity at any time up to 60 days prior to the expiry date provided the activity has not been confirmed with the provider and provided the activity is equal to or less value than the original voucher. Only 1 exchange is allowed. The original expiry date will be featured on the new voucher and the original voucher must be returned before the new voucher can be issued.
Cancellations. Should you need to cancel a confirmed booking we do request that you give us at least 28 days before the date of the activity. We will always do our best to help and cancellation policies will vary from venue to venue. However, please be advised that cancellations within this period and especially cancellations at short notice may not be possible. If an activity is cancelled due to mechanical failure, we will do our best to advise you as soon as possible and if possible arrange an alternative date. However, Activity Wales regrets that in these circumstances we are unable to reimburse any travel, accommodation, or any other expenses incurred.
Refunds. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, please return the unused voucher within 10 days of purchase to receive a full refund. Refunds will be made in the same form as payment received. If you paid by credit card a transaction fee of 5% will apply.
Weather. Some activities are dependant on weather. Should an activity be cancelled in advance of you traveling an alternative date will be offered that will be mutually convenient. If the activity is cancelled on the day the provider's terms and conditions will apply and in most cases an alternative activity will be carried out.
Session lengths. Session lengths are approximate and will vary from venue to venue. Please check with the venue direct, if time is an issue.
Availability. All Activity Wales products offered are subject to availability. If a date is crucial, please book the activity when ordering the voucher by phone on 01437 765777. Bookings are not confirmed until you have the confirmation in writing from Activity Wales. Please try and book the activity within 30 days of your preferred date to increase the opportunity of securing your preferred date. All vouchers are subject to availability and terms and conditions of the selected centre apply, which are subject to change at any time. Details and costs are subject to change at any time and any difference in monies between the voucher being purchased and the activity cost at the time of booking, must be settled at the time of booking. Please be aware that some activities do have height and weight restrictions and some activities and spa treatments may not be suitable for certain medical conditions. It is the client's responsibility to supply the correct information and to notify us of any medical conditions or ailments at the time of booking. A medical declaration form may also be required at the centre before the activity session takes place.
Venues. Occasionally a venue will be removed from our portfolio and in this case we will offer an alternative venue or a full refund.
Data Protection. Activity Wales complies with all the principles of the Data Protection Act and never forwards any data to other suppliers for marketing purposes.
Trade Marks Activity Wales and Stay Wales Play Wales are registered Trade Marks of Activity Wales Ltd. No one may use the trade marks without the express permission in writing from Activity Wales Ltd. Neither the purchaser nor agents are allowed to use the Activity Wales Logo unless they have entered in to a partnership agreement and have signed the logo usage agreement.
3rd Party Web sites. We are not responsible for and accept no liability for the content or privacy practices of any linked web site that is not owned and maintained by Activity Wales.
Phone calls. For your protection and accordance with the FSA rules, all calls are recorded.
Other. Whilst we take care in choosing our experience suppliers, inclusion of an experience in our range does not mean that we guarantee the safety standards or satisfactory performance of any of the experience suppliers.
Activity Wales experience days' liability for any claim of breach of obligation regarding any single voucher or experience shall not exceed the price of that experience. The text, illustrations and images used on Activity Wales web site and brochure are protected by copyright and cannot be copied without the express permission of Activity Wales.

Privacy Policy. At Activity Wales we pride ourselves on our commitment to our customers and Privacy is right there at the top of the list. We will require your personal information such as name, address and payment details such as credit card details to process a payment, as bookings are not confirmed until payment has been confirmed and a confirmation letter submitted to yourself. Until this point all bookings remain provisional and Activity Wales hold no responsibility if the booking is not confirmed. All details are held at our head office Coastal House, Narberth Road, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 2XG.
All details are relayed to the back office automatically encrypting all credit card details using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) software, details of which can be checked by clicking on the SSL logo.
We require your information for a number of reasons them being:
1.) To process an order, send confirmation and tickets.
2.) We require your telephone number to contact you should there be a query or a change to your holiday that we feel you would like to know about.
3.) When placing an offer on offer and Go we will need your details to process your offer. If full details are not taken this may result in the holiday being given to another customer.
4.) We would prefer you to give us your e-mail address so that we may contact you regarding any special offers that may arise that you have
shown an interest in previously. We do monitor your shopping patterns both on the web site and if you call our holiday coordinators. This is to ensure that all offers we mail to you are specific to your requirements and we do not waste any of your time.
5.) Your details are specific to the Tourism Marketing Group of companies which consist of, Activity Wales, Coastal Cottages and Goscar Rock Internet. Your details will be shared with these companies only. We do not intend to share your details with any third party at present, however we may decide to do so in the future with business partners. If you would like to be removed from this list then please e-mail enquiries@activitywales.com and we will remove you from the shared database.
6.) Your details will also be passed to those operators with whom you have booked your holiday for administration purposes. Activity Wales takes no responsibility for their actions, however these operators may not use it for any other purpose and are required to process the data in accordance with the UK's data protection legislation.

Copyright and Trademarks. All web site design, text, images and content contained in this web site is the sole property of Activity Wales or it has been licensed to the owner for use on the web site. All copying, reproduction, modification of any parts of the site without strict written permission from a director within the company is strictly prohibited. Should any disputes arise, by using the site you are agreeing that the law according to the Courts of England and Wales will apply to all parties concerned.
Statutory Rights. These terms and conditions do not effect your statutory rights.
Password. For security purposes you will be issued with a password. DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS PASSWORD TO ANYONE. All activity undertaken with your password will be associated to yourself and you will be responsible for all costs associated to this activity. If you have lost or accidentally disclosed your password please phone customer services on 01437 766888, stating your name and postcode, your old password and a new one will be passed on to you.
Booking Conditions. The statutory rights of a person who deals as a consumer (as defined by section 12 of the unfair contract terms act 1977)relating to wrongly described or defective goods or services are not reduced by these booking conditions. Information and assistance on the statutory rights of consumers are available from trading standards departments or citizens advice bureaux.
1. Each contract for the hire of a property in this brochure is made subject to these booking conditions ("contract"). All contracts are between a customer ("Hirer") and the owner of the property / activity centre / attraction hired ("owner"). Activity Wales act as the letting agent ("Agent") on behalf of each owner/provider/centre.
2. All information on the web site and brochure is given in good faith, but the agent makes no warranties as to such information(or any part of it) as has been provided by the owner/third parties and which, despite original verification of such information by the agent, has become incorrect or incomplete
3. Bookings made by telephone should be confirmed within 48 hours enclosing the deposit/balance payments. Bookings made via the web site should accompany payment. The balance is due to be paid at least two calendar months prior to the holiday date. If the holiday date is less than two months from the booking date then the full amount becomes due.
4. The owner/provider/centre and/ or his representative retains the right to enter his property/room/activity at any reasonable time to carry out repairs deemed necessary to the property or equipment.
5. Should the property / activity / attraction be unavailable on the day stated, then the agent may, with the agreement of the provider, either return to the hirer the monies paid by the hirer to the agent in respect of the holiday in question or provide an alternative holiday. The agent will not be liable for any other losses/damages,etc, suffered by the hirer as a result of the property / activity / attraction being unavailable on the day stated. Such losses/damages must, to allow them to be considered by the owner, be accompanied by appropriate evidence.
6. If a booking is cancelled in writing more than two months before the holiday date, all efforts will be made to re-sell the holiday accommodation and associated activities. There is a standard £50 plus VAT, administration charge for any cancellation. A refund is only available at the discretion of the individual providers terms and conditions. Please be advised that cancellations, may not be possible.
7. If a booking is cancelled less than two months before the holiday date, the full price of the holiday is immediately payable. We will endeavor to re-sell the holiday accommodation and associated activities. There is a standard £50 plus VAT, administration charge for any cancellation. A refund is only available at the discretion of the individual providers terms and conditions. Please be advised that cancellations, especially those made at short notice may not be possible.
8. The agency reserves the right to make a £50 per booking administration charge for any property/ activity / attraction alteration or date alteration after the booking has been confirmed. No changes can be made within two months of the holiday being made.
9. The hirer is responsible for the accommodation and property hired and undertakes all responsible care of it, to keep it clean and tidy and to replace any breakages or damaged caused.
10. Under no account can the prescribed number of persons per unit purchased be exceeded. The company reserves the right to decline the bookings of any party at any time.
11. The owner and agency reserve the right to refuse a booking not deemed suitable.
12. Complaints relating to any part of the hirers purchase must be brought to the agents notice immediately. Complaints relating otherwise than to the condition of the items sold should also be notified to the agent immediately, but may be notified no later than 14 days after the end of the holiday. Failure to notify complaints to the agent immediately, may result in a complaint, and any related claim for compensation, being rejected or reduced on the basis that the agent has been denied an opportunity to investigate and, if relevant, rectify the complaint.
13. Clients funds are protected in a client trust account.
14. While every effort is made to provide the amenities as advertised, no liability will fall on the agent or the owner, should restrictions be applied to a holiday in the event of floods, drought, power cuts or any other occurrences outside of respective control, SAVE THAT the agent may, upon application by the hirer and at the discretion of the agent and with the agreement of the owner, consider a refund of a part or the whole of the hire charge paid by the hirer for the holiday concerned. Such refund is purely dependant upon the circumstances and extent of the restrictions concerned.
15. The owners and agents reserve the right to refuse access to the premises/activity when a party is deemed to be inappropriate.
16. The payment on the web site and brochure is a guide price, a full and final price will be confirmed with the hirer before confirmation is made. The agent is under no obligation to supply any of the holidays advertised in any media.
Disclaimer. Activity Wales to the maximum extent permitted by law disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied by statute, custom or usage relating to the information contained in or services offered within this web site or brochure. Activity Wales shall not be liable for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise arising from this web site, or from any interruption in accessing this web site. Activity Wales also accepts no responsibility for the standard of product, content and prices within the site or brochure.
